The First Half of March
I'm not doing well.
I have built habits and routines that are keeping us up and running, though.

If anything interrupts us, I flail about, lost.
Several times in the past few weeks, Sir Walter Scott has found me standing in the living room unable to move or think clearly.
Then I remember where I am, and I do what I can.
I've taken kids to keep medical/psych appointments.

I've kept everyone fed.
We've gone to dance performances and practices.

In the circle before our show, our little friend loved on Mister Man--one of her favorite humans.
They've attended church activities.

This activity was interrupted by tornado warnings, but Baymax happily dissected his owl pellet at home.

Off to the temple to serve!
Little Princess has gone to work.
All four of my CAP kids were promoted!
We've done household chores, so everyone has clean clothes, food to eat, clean dishes, and a safe environment.
Kids are all progressing in their schoolwork; we finished The Land I Lost (such a powerful read!), and we're loving, loving, loving Little Britches. Great Expectations has the high schoolers squawking with strong reactions. :)

The youngest three kids have spent long hours in our creek, in the swimming hole they dammed with Rose Red.
We keep our Wednesday library appointments without fail, and the kids read . . . a lot!
Mister Man finished the first of 7 books in his Electronics 1-7 text.
We're still doing childcare for Little Mister, and we've done some intermittent babysitting for friends in need.
The teens went to a special church devotional this past Saturday with Elder Brad Wilcox and Jeremy Guthrie (baseball star). The day included lunch and a dance. Everyone came home happy.
Lola and Baymax went on an 11-mile bike ride with Sir Walter Scott!
Today the kids were supposed to attend a mission prep class and then a Tahitian dance rehearsal, but we're in the path of the big midwest storm today--wind gusts of 50-60 mph and slick roads due to snow melting and refreezing on the roads.
So we're staying home together.
And I like it.

You are doing a huge amount! Even though it feels like your normal. It is a lot. Thinking of you and I hope you don't get any storm damage. Our storms are coming tomorrow.
